Proposal and concept for the exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, focusing on the intrinsic relation between photography and impermanence. Photography not only chronicles the passage of time, impermanence, and the ageing of people and things, but photographs themselves are uniquely impermanent objects. With works by Rineke Dijkstra, Koos Breukel, Tracey Moffat, Ger van Elk, Craigie Horsfield among others.
